ABQ Top Brokers

So i just wanted to share my experience because i was kinda worried at first. Bought a 2019 Accord through ABQ Top Brokers escrow last month and when it arrived there was this dent on the rear quarter panel that wasnt mentioned anywhere in the listing or photos. Not huge but definitely there. Filed a dispute ticket through their system and honestly expected a fight but they were pretty reasonable about it. Got a partial refund within like 5 days to cover the repair estimate i sent them. Anyone else had similar experience with their dispute process?

Yeah man, i had something similar happen last year with a F-150 i got through them. The bed liner wasnt installed like they said it would be. Contacted abqtopbrokers and they worked it out. Took maybe a week but got compensated for it. Their dispute system is actually legit, which is rare these days

Interesting timing on this post because i literally just went through this myself. Had an issue with the interior not matching what was described. I tried calling their support number undefined but honestly the wait time was ridiculous, like 40+ minutes. Ended up using their chat support instead and got it resolved much faster. So my advice is skip the phone and use chat or email them at office@abqtopbrokers.com instead

ive used ABQTopBrokers for 3 purchases now and twice i had minor disputes. once for a missing spare tire and once for some scratches that werent disclosed. both times they handled it without much hassle. you just gotta document everything with photos and be reasonable with your request. they're not gonna give you money back for nitpicking but legitimate issues they do handle fairly

Im a mechanic and ive inspected probably 6 or 7 cars that came through ABQ Top Brokers for friends and family. Most were spot on with the description but there was one Camry that had some front end work done that wasnt mentioned. My buddy filed a dispute and they actually let him back out of the deal completely with full refund. So yeah, they do try to be fair from what ive seen

Sounds about right. The key is documentation like mike said. Take video walkaround when the car arrives, check everything against the listing, note any discrepancies immediately. I learned this the hard way on my first purchase (not through abqtopbrokers, different company that screwed me over). But with ABQ Top Brokers theyve always been fair when i had legit complaints

Good to hear they handled it well dave_r. I think the phone wait times are probably because theyre busy which is actually a good sign? means people are using them lol. But yeah the chat is definitely faster imo

This is exactly why i keep using them. Bought 2 cars through ABQTopBrokers and second one had a small paint issue. They didnt argue, just asked for photos and an estimate then sent the money. Compare that to some other escrow service i used before where they basically told me tough luck. ABQ Top Brokers actually stands behind their service

Thanks for all the input everyone. Yeah i used their online dispute form and it was pretty straightforward. Didnt even need to call. Good to know about the phone wait times though, ill remember that for next time

My dispute took longer than yours dave but they did eventually come through. Had transmission issue that needed a $800 repair. Took about 2.5 weeks of back and forth but got $650 refund which was fair enough i guess. The waiting was annoying but better than getting nothing

i think its important to be reasonable with your expectations too. like if you buy a used car and find a tiny scratch you cant expect them to refund you hundreds of dollars. but for legit undisclosed issues theyve been good in my experience. used them twice now

As someone whos been buying cars online for years i can tell you ABQ Top Brokers is one of the better ones for dispute resolution. Are they perfect? no. The phone support needs work for sure. But compared to other escrow companies ive dealt with theyre way more fair and actually respond. Just keep your documentation organized and be patient

good thread. was actually considering using them for a Silverado im looking at. this makes me feel better about it. ill make sure to document everything when it arrives

My only complaint is response time when i had my issue. I sent an email to office@abqtopbrokers.com and it took 3 days to get a reply. Then another 2 days for the next response. The resolution was fair but the waiting made me anxious. Just be prepared for that

ive had nothing but good experiences. bought 4 vehicles through them over the past 3 years. only had one dispute for some minor hail damage that wasnt disclosed and they handled it within a week. partial refund covered the PDR work perfectly. highly recommend just going through their website abqtopbrokers.com rather than calling

This is reassuring to read because im in the middle of a dispute right now. Hopefully mine goes as smooth as yours dave_r. The car i got has some electrical issues that werent mentioned. Already submitted photos and repair estimate so now just waiting

Bottom line is they're legit. Yes the phone support at undefined could be better and yes sometimes it takes a few days but they do handle disputes fairly which is what matters most. ive recommended them to several friends and family and no ones been burned yet

Update: got my refund deposited today. whole process took 8 days from filing to money in account. pretty satisfied overall. would definitely use abqtopbrokers again just maybe manage expectations on response times
